Rebeca and Mónica, two sisters who were always inseparable, supporting each other through thick and thin, despite their markedly opposite temperaments. Their bond shatters when a youthful mistake forever alters their lives. Rebeca is unjustly imprisoned and forced to leave her daughter, Aura, in a children's home, from where Mónica rescues her by adopting her. Years later, consumed by guilt for having been separated from her daughter, she decides to reclaim her. Thus begins a struggle between the sisters for Aura's love. Mónica, who has dedicated her youth to raising Aura, refuses to lose her and will do anything to keep her.
