After the birth of his daughter, Saratov OBKhSS employee Alexander Shishinin decides to radically change his life and do what he has always dreamed of - producing a music group. He meets the talented composer Vitaly Okorokov. Together they literally find the first vocalists on the street: Tatyana Ivanova, Alena Apina and assemble the first female group in the USSR: vocalists and musicians - girls who, with the help of songs, will talk about their difficult fate and about the era.
