"Freshmen" is a new Comedy Club Production series about how it's never too late to return to your dream. All of us in our youth dreamed of the future and imagined our lives differently in decades to come. But few people's desires coincided with reality. So it happened with friends Zhanna and Nastya, who, meeting the millennium in the walls of the hostel, wished each other to achieve everything they want, and be sure to open a luxury restaurant somewhere on the seashore.  But fate turned out differently. Both Zhanna and Nastya dropped out of the institute after the first year.

After Nastya's sons go to the army, and Jeanne finds out about her husband's infidelity, the friends meet and regret the years that they think were wasted. And then Jeanne decides that everything could have been different if they hadn't dropped out of school. Friends come up with a brilliant plan: to return to the institute and move into the same hostel to start all over again. Forty-year-old students will have a hard time both studying and communicating with the young environment. But Zhanna and Nastya are not going to give up on the way to their happiness.
