In the early 1980s, the party elite in the Soviet Union intensified the struggle for power. Ordinary people find themselves embroiled in a ruthless conflict between the two departments of the KGB and the Interior Ministry, for power. One evening the precinct, Senior Lieutenant Kirill Nesterov, gets difficult teenager with a suspicious package, which are rare canvases of Russian artists. Kirill had no idea that this episode will be only the first step in a series of subsequent events that would jeopardize not only his views on life, but life itself!
